-B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry/Polymer Chemistry

-2+ years coatings industry experience

-Hands-on knowledge and experience in Coatings Industry

POSITION 2 

Sales Manager (Latin America)

Cardolite Corporation has an immediate opening for an experienced and knowledgeable Sales Manager to cover the Latin American coatings and friction markets. With the collaboration of a professional sales and technical staff, you will be performing the following duties:

·        Perform selling and marketing activities in the coatings and friction industry

·        Develop key accounts at R&D, technical and purchasing levels

·        Conduct market investigations for new and existing products

·        Negotiate contracts

·        Work closely with management, marketing and technical service to deliver effective solutions to Cardolite customers.

To succeed in this position, you must be a self-starter and have the ability to work well externally with customers, independently to manage your business, and internally in a group developing customer-focused solutions. This position requires you to travel at least 50% of your time and is located at Cardolite’s headquarters in Newark, NJ reporting to the Americas Sales Manager.

Position requirements:

·      Have chemistry or related background

·      Have a minimum BA degree

·      Willing to travel to Latin American countries (Mexico, Central & South America) 50% of the time. 

·      5 years minimum experience in industrial sales (coatings and/or friction experience preferred)

·      Must be fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese a large plus)

·      Effective written and verbal skills

·      Computer literate
